About EGRWSE -2027 Conference

The Environmental Geotechnology, Recycled Waste Materials, and Sustainable Engineering (EGRWSE) Conference is an established annual international forum that has been held since 2018 at leading academic institutions worldwide, including Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar (2018, 2023), University of Illinois Chicago (2019), Dokuz Eylul University (2022), Warsaw University of Life Sciences (2024), University of Vigo (2025), and the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, India (2026). The conference brings together researchers, academics, industry professionals, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and present recent advances in environmental geotechnology, sustainable infrastructure, and the recycling and reuse of waste materials in engineering applications. It provides a multidisciplinary platform addressing critical global challenges, including climate change, resource efficiency, and sustainable development. EGRWSE emphasizes the integration of sustainability principles across engineering disciplines, promoting innovative solutions for resilient infrastructure and environmentally responsible construction practices. The conference aligns with global initiatives such as the UNESCO Engineering Initiative and contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to technical exchange, EGRWSE fosters international collaboration and networking, with a strong commitment to inclusiveness, affordability, and active engagement of students and early-career researchers. The conference also encourages cross-cultural interaction and academic partnership in a flexible and collaborative environment. The upcoming EGRWSE-2027, as the 8th edition of the series, will further advance the discourse on sustainable and resilient engineering by incorporating emerging technologies, circular economy approaches, and systems thinking to address complex environmental and infrastructure challenges.
